Get the most from your Bosch Colt PR10E, PR20EVS, GKF125CEN, GKF18V-25N or GLF18V-8 trim router (compact router) with this precision laser cut 3/8" thick acrylic two-handle router base plate.
No more fiddling with universal base plates that have more holes than Swiss cheese. This base plate features pre-drilled countersunk mounting holes specific to your router to make lining it up and attaching it a breeze. You also don't have to worry about sawdust and debris getting caught in the extra holes that are often found in universal base plates. The router base features a 1 3/8" diameter stepped-hole that is 100% compatible with "porter cable style" (P-C) router bushings to give you the greatest capability.
Most compact trim routers come with small OEM base plates that tilt or tip while in use due to their small footprint. If you are attempting to do precise work like following a stencil or pocketing, a trim router requires you to grip the entire body of it with your hand, which is both challenging and unergonomic. That's why we developed the dual handle, 9.25x6" compact palm router base. The ~4" tall phenolic handles provide a ridged, ergonomic and comfortable grip for two handed control. In addition, the thick, clear base plate provides unparalleled visibility so you can see your workpiece, stencil or template while you are moving your router around.
In addition to sign making and free-hand wood carving use, this router base plate is also perfect for pocketing large sections of tray, bowl and dish templates. The wide profile of the base ensures your trim router stays level even with pocketing large tray openings because the base is (usually) always going to be riding on top of the surface of the tray or dish template, unlike the small OEM router base included with your compact router.
Unlock even more potential from your router by turning it into a compact router table! Our 9.25x6x0.375" dual-handle router base can drop right into the Crafted Elements Swappable Palm/Trim Router Table Plate (sold separately). Use this router table plate on your workbench or build a base for it to have an instant "hands free" router table.
Note: This base has THREE different hole patterns to accommodate the 3 hole / 4 hole pattern found across Bosch brand routers.
This product is an acrylic router base plate only. It does NOT include a router or any plunge frame attachment for a router. It is strictly the acrylic base plate designed to fit on your existing router.

It makes routering alot easier with your template.
The piece is actually fine, but I regret buying the two handled version because I already have a full-size router with two handles. I should’ve gone with the smaller extended base for my DeWalt Palm sander. That I could use a lot. Nothing you guys did wrong just a bad call on my part. I wish I could return and swap it.
The fit and finish on this attachment exceeded my expectations and felt solid in my hands when using which gave me the confidence to get after the project I was working on and hog out some material.
I like the 6" base plate and I use it for better stability when doing trim work. The only problem I had was with the thickness of the 6" base plate. I had to purchase longer screws to secure it to my router and the thickness makes it difficult to get my router bit low enough with the base plate and router sled. I am using a Bosch palm router.
While I haven't got to use this just yet, I did affix the Craftsman V20 router shroud to the support. It feels comfortable.
Only downside I see so far is that you can't just drop it into the nice table mount option with the router's factory provided dust collector vacuum port.
you would also have to rotate your router 90 degrees to mount it in order to use the handles.
If you are enjoying the table mount, you would have to unmount your router from the plate, or back out the screws enough so that you can remove your vacuum port.
That affects the speed of transitioning from "palm routing" to table mount if you want to manage dust collection in the process.
Even more so if you have the ToolCurve attachment ive got here to connect my future dust collection setup.
I'm just an amateur trying to figure things out for my "shop" constraints, but something I've observed.
I installed the baseplate on my cordless router, and I use it to make box joints. I made the box joint fixture from a Woodsmith plan. The base plate gives me more control and a better view of the routing. Great product!
It is well made and feels good on the tool, my only complaint is as you can see in the pictures is the base plate screws are so long that they block the slots for a guide bracket to be installed.
This based is really great. This was my first time with a palm router and it made engraving very easy. I’ve used it for a few projects from lettering to plunge cutting. Very happy with it.
In the world of woodworking, especially when you do it for a living,it is important to be efficient. It is a constant evolution. Anything that helps productivity is always a must. These router bases help with precision more control leading to fewer errors and cleaner results ultimately improving quality. I am looking forward to purchasing more products moving forward.
Fast shipping, well packaged. Router plate is thicker and well made, including deep countersunk holes to fit the OEM screws. Excellent quality for the price!
The machined edges are rough. Not a clean cut. You make one thing, there is no reason it can't be perfect. All four plates I ordered (for two different palm routers) have the same issue.
