Bosch (1617 EVSPK/RA1166) 10" Square Large Router Base

Get the most from your Bosch 1617 EVS / EVSPK or RA1166 (plunge base) router with this precision laser cut 3/8" thick acrylic oversized square router base plate.

No more fiddling with universal base plates that have more holes than Swiss cheese. This base plate features pre-drilled countersunk mounting holes specific to your router to make lining it up and attaching it a breeze. The router base features a 1 3/8" diameter stepped-hole that is 100% compatible with "porter cable style" (P-C) router bushings to give you the greatest capability (bushing not included).

Most full sized routers come with small OEM base plates that can tilt or tip while in use due to their small footprint. If you are attempting to do precise work like following a stencil or pocketing, or shaping a bowl or tray using a router template the small round base can prove challenging. That's why we developed this big square 10x10" router base plate. The square shape and 5" perimeter to bit center design makes it ideally suited for following along straight guides or jigs due to its flat sides. The clear base plate provides unparalleled visibility so you can see your workpiece, stencil or template while you are moving your router around. 

This big aftermarket router base plate is perfect for pocketing large sections of tray, bowl and dish templates. The wide profile of the base ensures your router stays level even with pocketing large tray openings because the base is (usually) always going to be riding on top of the surface of the tray or dish template, unlike the small OEM router base included with your router.

Note: This base has TWO different hole patterns to accommodate the 3 hole plunge base and 4 hole pattern for the fixed base version of this router.
