Are you making wood clocks and are tired of having to manually measure, divide and layout the dial or number markers? This template will simplify your life and save you a bunch of time.
At just under 16" in overall diameter this layout template features a center marking hole and 12 channels representing each position of a clock. The template also has etched rings from 8" to 15" in diameter to help you accurately space your dial/number markers and align it with your round clock base.
Find and mark center, mark your dial/number locations within seconds! Works for clocks from 8 to 16" in diameter.
Before ordering this it was taking massive amounts of math, rulers, etc., of which none are my strong suit. After it arrived, setting the numbers and marks are SO MUCH EASIER!!! My husband did the wood part combining walnut and cherry wood creating clocks in various sizes and this template is so awesome!! It’s very sturdy and using a very sharp pencil for marking is perfect. I use a screw, washer and nut to hold it against the wood. Love this - thank you!!
The size of the template was exactly what I was looking for, easy to use and set up. Initially planned to only make a couple as gifts and decided to add this to my arsenal of wood products.
