IMPORTANT NOTES AND DISCLAIMER SPECIFIC TO OUR VERY LARGE SILICONE MOLDS:
These molds are made in-house using platinum cure silicone. However, due to the amount of silicone used and labor input to produce molds of this size and weight there are certain limitations and expectations that need to be clear before purchase. First, although we try to create perfect molds, pouring the volume of silicone required for this mold is a challenge.
Normally we would not allow a mold with micro surface bubbles or small inclusions (such as a tiny piece of plastic or dirt from the air in our shop) to pass as a "grade a" mold. However, pouring a mold this size and volume increases that risk notably and due to the cost of producing something this size we need to allow for a limited amount of imperfections. Thus, molds of this size with micro sized imperfections that won't have a notable effect on the final demolded product will still be considered "Grade A" saleable molds. Small micro bubbles within the mold walls or floor not on the surface can also be expected but are not considered "surface bubbles".
We would never ship a product that is ripped, torn or gouged, but again, due to the volume and facility conditions, perfection is hard to achieve over this much surface area.
BY PURCHASING THIS MOLD YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS TO OUR NORMAL POLICIES STATED ABOVE.
The last mold you will ever need. Created just for makers, resin artists and wood workers, these time saving flexible yet durable silicone molds significantly cut down on the setup and demolding time usually involved with other molds. Silicone molds are superior to wood and tuck tape, and HDPE molds because:
