Crafted Elements Silicone Molds

The last mold you will ever need. Created just for makers, resin artists and wood workers, these time saving flexible yet durable silicone molds significantly cut down on the setup and demolding time usually involved with other molds. Silicone molds are superior to wood and tuck tape, and HDPE molds because:

  • They can be used with epoxy resin, resin and wood, concrete, Jesmonite, plaster and more.
  • They never need assembled, or disassembled. Saving huge amounts of time.
  • The strength and flexibility of the molds allows you to insert and remove pieces of wood easily.
  • The corners and edges never need sealed.
  • When using wood, the wood stays in place, tight in the mold if you cut it 1/16" larger than the width of the mold. Alternatively use our HDPE block kit in conjunction with hand weights or clamps to keep your wood from up in your resin. The HDPE blocks dont stick to set resin and are easily and cleanly removed.
  • The mold is heat resistant to ~450F. Avoid direct contact with the flame of a torch. Briskly wave your torch or use a heat gun to pop bubbles.
  • The molds are reusable. However silicone molds do have a finite lifespan when used with epoxy resin, but getting 20-30+ castings out of the mold can be expected when they are properly cared for and a non-silicone based mold release spray is used. The Mann Ease Release 300 and the MG Chemicals 8329 (Amazon) is what we most recommend.
  • Like HDPE, epoxy resin does not stick to silicone. However, the heat generated by the exothermic reaction and the chemicals in epoxy resin are very harsh to all silicone molds. Additionally, if part of your epoxy has not fully set due to improper mixing, the epoxy can become bonded to the mold. Both of these factors can lead to mold tear out when removing your piece from the mold, leading to pits and tears on the surface of the mold. This is why we a non-silicone based mold release spray is required before each pour. To help prevent tear out and to increase the life of your mold. We use the 'MG Chemicals 8329 Non-Silicone Epoxy Mold Release', 'Mann Ease Release 200' or 'Mann Ease Release 300'. Cooking spray, vaseline, silicone based sprays or sprays designed for urethane or polyester products should NEVER be used. Using a proper, non-silicone based mold release can mean the difference between getting only a couple of uses from your mold to 20, 30 or more.

Perfect size. Much easier once I got the template

Love the quality of this mold and how easily my cross released from the mold.

Used wood found on our church grounds.

This is by far the best and most heavy duty cross mold I have run across. Stay away from anything that is cheaper, you will not be happy. This first pic is a cross made of epoxy and pistachio wood and the second picture is an experiment tyring mimic a stained glass cross using all epoxy. Both are works in progress.

So far good. The only thing I do not like is the sharp edge. I haven't found a way to get rid of it without ruining the face of the cross. I bought some cameilion flakes to try next

Nice quality but very high price. Your return policy is not great. Shipping so high to Canada you might as well not accept returns.

High Quality

Love this mold

Awesome awesome awesome. Exactly what wanted

The cross mold is high quality and very sturdy.

I got a request from my sisters to make a few crosses so I ordered the cross mold. Glad I read to get a certain kind of release spray for the mold before I started using it. The release was perfect and the first three crosses didn’t turn out because of the epoxy I used. I used my original epoxy that I like and the next three turned out great. The mold that I purchased is great I will be ordering different ones in the future.

My first cross I made was for a family member who just completed 12 rounds of chemo for breast cancer!

Seems to hold up so far. Wish the surface had more gloss

Ive been using this mold for all my projects. Love how sturdy it is!

Olive wood with turquoise chips.

Love the quality of the mold.

Amazing mold.

Wow this mold is awesome! If anyone is thinking about getting into pouring molds this is the one to purchase! This mold is so much enjoyment! The real fun is when you remove your piece from the mold and see what you have created! Thanks Crafted Elements

The mold had imperfect flaws inside the mold

Best mold! High quality, thick and firm, beautiful results

great product, quick delivery, as advertised.

I love how this cross is proportioned with a longer, taller trunk so to speak. I made this with shards of glass and beads from Bethlehem. I made this for my Grandson who was born on Valentine’s Day 2026 🤍🩵❤️ and a gift from heaven. My daughter had a hard time conceiving then let it go with a lot of prayers with friends and family. Then one day she was with child. “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.” 1 Samuel 1:27

Love the mold!

Excellent quality.

Love these molds!

Mold worked great.

Was exactly what I was needing for my project. The dimentions were what I needed and the molds were trouble free- cross came out w/ease!

Very awesome mold couldn't be more happier!!!

Love it

Don’t buy these molds I bought the cross mold 12 by 6 and parts of the mold came off on the cross when I demolded it. I’ve been working with resin and molds and have never never had this happen to me in five years. I don’t recommend this product. Beware

I have been using crafted elements for years! They always arrive in a timely manner and are made to last.

Love these molds. Deep enough to add lots of different items.

These molds are awesome! Makes the process so much easier.

Love it. These are turning out great! 😊

Just as expected from this dependable company.

Very solid, good size as advertised.

It doesn’t get any easier!

Love the molds, we make many items with it!

As always Crafted Elements has the best high quality molds. I love being able to create beautiful pieces!

Always get multiple micro holes between the mold and epoxy. I use the mold release spray and follow all procedures but end up with the same results and have bought several cross molds
